There is a large car park opposite The Monro which is £6 for the day. It's great when combining a shopping trip with a great dining experience at The Monro since the new Liverpool One shopping centre is a short walk at the end of the road.
Most visitors to Liverpool will be routed either through one of the Mersey tunnels or Edge Lane from the M62. The journey time from both is approximately 15 minutes.
By Train:
Nearest Stop: Liverpool Central
If arriving via Liverpool Lime Street it's not really worth it to travel to Liverpool Central since it's only a 10 minute walk away. The cab fare from Lime Street is approximately £3.50.
If you alight at Liverpool Central, as you leave the station leave by the Bold Street exit and turn left. You will see St. Lukes church at the top of the street. However, turn right when you see the large Oxfam store on the left on to Slater Street.
Walk along Slater Street to the end and you will see The Monro opposite.
Summary:

Turn right at Oxfam- arrive at destination.
